We will explore the historic charm of Coyoacán, one of Mexico City’s most vibrant and culturally rich neighborhoods. As we stroll through its cobblestone streets and colorful plazas, we’ll discover its deep artistic and historical significance, visiting iconic landmarks such as the Frida Kahlo Museum and the lively Jardín Centenario.
After our tour, you'll have free time to explore the local markets, browse artisan crafts, or relax at a traditional café while enjoying authentic Mexican flavors. This experience will allow you to soak in the bohemian atmosphere of Coyoacán, connecting with its history, art, and daily life.
Historical Center

We will dive into the heart of Mexico City’s Centro Histórico, a UNESCO World Heritage site filled with history, stunning architecture, and vibrant energy. As we walk through its majestic plazas and colonial streets, we’ll visit iconic landmarks such as the Zócalo, the Metropolitan Cathedral, and the National Palace, where we’ll admire Diego Rivera’s breathtaking murals.
We’ll also explore the Templo Mayor, the ancient ruins of the Aztec capital, to uncover Mexico’s fascinating pre-Hispanic past. Anthropology Museum + Chapultepec Park

We will embark on a journey through Mexico’s rich history and diverse cultures at the National Museum of Anthropology, one of the most important museums in Latin America. As we explore its impressive collections, we’ll discover fascinating artifacts from ancient civilizations like the Aztecs, Maya, and Olmecs, including the famous Aztec Sun Stone.
After our museum visit, we’ll immerse ourselves in the natural beauty of Chapultepec Park, one of the largest city parks in the world. We’ll stroll through its scenic paths, visit the stunning Chapultepec Castle, and take in breathtaking views of the city. You’ll also have free time to explore, enjoy a picnic, or relax by the lake, experiencing this green oasis in the heart of Mexico City.
Xochimilco

We will experience the vibrant and festive atmosphere of Xochimilco, one of Mexico City’s most iconic and lively cultural treasures. Aboard a colorful trajinera (traditional boat), we’ll navigate the ancient canals, remnants of the vast lake system that once covered the Valley of Mexico. As we glide through the water, we’ll enjoy the sounds of mariachi and traditional music, while learning about the history and traditions of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Along the way, we’ll visit a chinampa (floating garden), where we’ll discover the agricultural techniques of the Aztecs and interact with local farmers. Olaf Morales was born and raised in Chiapas, Mexico, where he spent his formative years. Approximately seven years ago, he relocated to Todos Santos, BCS, Mexico.
What is his qualification?
Olaf Morales possesses a Master's degree in ELT (English Language Teaching) from the University of Southampton, accompanied by a certification in Spanish Language Teaching (ELE) granted by Oxford House Barcelona. With over 20 years of experience, he has adeptly instructed in both English and Spanish while also providing valuable assistance to fellow educators in advancing their professional journeys.
What level of Spanish do I need?
For the upcoming summer of 2025, prospective participants interested in the Spanish immersion program are required to possess a minimum upper basic level of proficiency. While this serves as the baseline, it is highly recommended to have reached an intermediate level or to have engaged with Spanish language learning for a duration of at least one year prior to the commencement of the course. This approach ensures an enriching and comprehensive experience throughout the program.
What is the maximum number of students per cohort?
In order to foster an environment conducive to effective learning and active engagement, each cohort of our Spanish immersion course will be limited to a maximum of 12 students.

Participants are advised to arrive at Mexico City International Airport (AICM, code: MEX), the designated airport for arrivals. Conveniently, AICM offers multiple connections from major airports across Mexico and international hubs, making it an accessible destination for travelers from the United States, Canada, and beyond.
